If I had to choose a genre that I was most passionate about, it would be Asian. I love everything about it and I even feel a calmness as I am creating it. My guest room is Asian inspired and I often sleep in there as it is so peaceful. OK by now [...] Brown 80# BASIS goes wonderfully with the new Corrugated Chocolate & Corrugated Blue. The ribbon is part of the fantastic ribbon that is now available at PaperTemptress. The digital image from Deedee’s Digi’s is printed on Metallic Gold. The saying is stamped on Speckled Kraft. Hope all the Father’s out there enjoyed their [...] Just get out your “stitches” rubber stamps and make a patchwork card. It’s a new technique from this month’s Technique Junkie Newsletter. This technique calls for Distress Inks. The patchwork panel is made from Heavenly White, which was colored direct to paper with ; Stormy Skies, Milled Lavender, Wild Honey and Shabby Shutters [...] This card is simple to produce and I’m sure any returning soldier would touched by it. The base and front panel are cut from Paper Temptress’ Neenah Super Smooth Ivory Paper. The Indigo Blue Skinny Columns is lined with Red BASIS cardstock. My favorite part is the Gold Sparkle Banner which reads “Welcome [...] I used Mountain Rose Glimmer paper from Paper Temptress for the base. The feathers stamped quite well on the shimmery surface. The parrots and sentiment are stamped on PT’s watercolor paper. The red accent color is Red BASIS paper. [...] It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Paper Temptress papers! I am so blessed to be on Patricia’s design team. Thanks so much Patricia! Anyway, on with my card for you all… I stamped my [...] I love when I discover items that match Paper Temptress paper. The Light Blue BASIS is a perfect match to SU Bashful Blue. The envelope was created using a template from Hot off the Press. The mini envelope is Sky Blue Stripes. The flowers are Sour Apple Pop Tones and Juniper Berry Glimmer. [...] I don’t speak that way, but it seemed so fitting for this card: It is so glitzy and glamore-y…perfect for a friend! I used Brawny RC100 in Eclipse Black for the base. I think the Brawny is really great for card bases and if you want to make 3D items. You can’t see it [...] |
