Love You

Hi everyone! Mari here, today I am sharing one of the Valentine’s Day cards I made this year. I used an image by DillyBeans that I colored with Spectrum Noir Markers.

PT FEB Dilly Beans RESIZE

I printed the image on Copic Blend It Xpress paper.

I cut the sentiment out of Jupiter Red Mica/ Metallic with the Silhouette and used the Azaela Mica/Metallic for the background. It doesn’t show in the photo very well but the papers really shimmer. These are some of my favorite papers to work with.

Love Puppy

Puppy

Here is a cute Puppy image from 2 Cute Ink. I used a different combination of papers.

Here is a up close of Eggplant Weave. The texture is hared to see but is fun to have paper that add a bit extra to a card. A blue Pop Tones that I embossed then inked.

Puppy3This last one shows the Deckled Stationary Blue that I ink it has great texture and is fun to give a distressed look.

How to Create Fluffy Clouds on Neenah Linen

IMG_0235

IMG_0233

Aloha Guys!  This is Joyce from http://enjoyscrappin2.com and today I’m creating these fluffy clouds on a Neenah Linen card stock.  These are my favorite card stock of all times because of the texture as well as it’s ability hold water, almost like a watercolor card stock.  I’ve used my clarity brushes to create the clouds and you can definitely see the fantastic texture though the colors :)  I hope you like this and thank you so much for watching :)

Valentine Day’s Duck

IMGP1748

This is my valentine card for a dear uncle.  I put a wobbler under the main image so that when you touch it giggles back and forth.

The base for this card is Heavenly White Ultrasmooth.  I used a scrap of pink which is Rose Quartz Mica Metallic for the backing for the main piece.  The beautiful red layer is Jupiter Mica Metallic.  Both of these have a beautiful shimmer to them.  The main image is stamped on Cryogen White.

The stamp I used is from Great Impressions.

Baby shower thank you cards!

HI everyone…most of my online friends know that I recently had grandbaby #7 born 10 weeks early….but he was such a trooper…3 weeks later he came home, thank goodness..it was hard on my daughter who spent most of her time with him in the hospital but thank goodness there weren’t any complications, all he had to do was get bigger….he was born so early that he attended his baby shower LOL..which was a lot of fun…and so here are the cards I made to thank everyone who came to the shower…I made 30 of these cards!20160203-IMG_9682 20160203-IMG_9683

20160204-IMG_968920160204-IMG_9690They were fun to design too! I just used two cardstocks…the White is Heavenly White 100# (and it embossed BEAUTIFULLY) and  Light Blue BASIS  for the base and the onesie bottom..I love the Baby ribbon too.  I embossed the Heavenly White with the really great new Memories R Us Quilt Embossing Folders …love these folders and were perfect for this design!  The last image was the inside of the card with the space to write the thank you for….she got some amazing gifts..all was welcomed since she had nothing since he was sooo early!

Incandescent PB & J

PB&J - 2_edited-1PB&J - 1

Hallo,

Stopping by today with a cute little Valentine’s Day card. I colored up the cute little image with polychromes and the used 2 very pretty papers from the incandescent line to make the card.

The base cardstock is ‘russo incandescent’ and I used a heart embossing folder on it. The white heart was done with ‘candido incandescent text weight’ and it has swirls embossed on it but I just couldn’t get it to show up in the pictures!!

The text weight is just as pretty but great for layering without adding a ton of thickness and is just as shimmery as the red is!!.

I edged the image panel and the heart with a gold metallic pen and added some gold pearl drops with a viva décor pen.

All for me today – Back to the craft room as I just got a whole pile of new pretty paper to play with :)

Take Care

Tera

Star Folded Card

Hello, fellow crafters! I’m excited to share with you another card project for the Design Team! This team is a wonderful group of talented people, and Miss Patricia is a wonderful owner/coordinator! I love this place…and the papers!! Oh, my! They are #1 in my book! I got the digital free on Sassy Studio Designs (Marilyn) on Facebook.  Here are the papers that I used for my card:   Heavenly White #80, along with the Black and Gold Skinny Column I received from the package special. These papers were perfect to give Miss Marilyn the glam and sparkle she loved! Be sure to go to the Paper Temptress website and check out all the wonderful papers!

A Different Kind of Cupid for Valentine’s Day

When we think of Cupid we often think of the little nearly naked baby angel flittering through the air. but when I came across this wonderful digital image of a young boy dressed in a vintage style as Cupid, I knew I had to have him! in fact, hubby even stopped what he was doing when he saw the card on my computer to comment about how much he liked the vintage look.

and thanks to the Paper Temptress store, you can get the papers to make a card for YOUR sweetie, too! :)

2016-01-22 14.12.39a

I started with a base of spirit red feltweave cs and then added my decorative papers and image. a little banner was punched from black Basis cs and then a sentiment generated from my label maker added over the top.

I tied a ribbon of the poppy red splitz ribbon to a fun red & white paper clip. this ribbon is cool because it is both satin and grosgrain all on one ribbon. the color was a little too bright orangey-red for my papers, so I dyed it to match by just adding some ink. super easy! :)

Two is better than one!

Goooood Friday morning everyone!

Dt Stephanie here with you today and as I’m getting ready to go for an extra day at school in my weekly schedule (woot!), I’m posting two cards, yup!

Even thought we’re almost into February and Valentine’s day, I’m still in a Christmas mood and making cards around that, eh eh! So, this is miss Shy Marci from La-La Land Crafts stamped on my all-time favourite cardstock (Cryogen White, of course!!) with pale ink to give her a soft look (Desert Sand by Memento), and then stacked on yummy layers of papers by Kaisercraft, and a couple of matching dies, as always: Cherry Blossom BranchLattice Doily BorderPostage Stamps (set of 4)Scalloped Trim BannerSnowflake Flag BannerStitched Elements (set of 7)

Here are the markers I used to colour her up:

Copics:
Skin (E000-00-21-11-13-04, R20)
Hair (E44-47-49)
Clothing (B32-34-37-39, R22-24-27-29, E93, T2-4-6-8-10)

My card second card features the Train Depot scene that will be available really soon at LDRS Creative and a new sentiment that perfectly matches it, in my humble opinion :-) Since I wanted the card to be simple, yet elegant, I thought I’d give it a masculine twist regarding the colours chosen.

Like it? Here are the Copic markers I used to create it:

 Grass and trees : YG91-93-95-97-99

Train, Concrete, Train Station and Tracks : E31-33-35-37-39, E40-41-42-43, C0-1-3-5-7-9

That’s it for today, have a nice week-end!
