I used the kissed embossed technique to do this card, The Ivory velvet paper is just perfect for this technique. It hold the embossed ink perfectly.

I did this page for Colorful creations, they had a challenge to use all white paper and embellishments to make a page. so of course you know I had to dip into my lovely papers from The paper temptress!I added some chipboard from the dusty attic, and lots of bling too.

I am so in love with the black velvet card stock!! It is just so luxurious!! On this card I used the “kissed embossed” technique that I learned in summer card camp. I rubbed Orchid Ice opalite pigment ink on the raised parts of the embossing folder, then put the cardstock down and embossed. [...]

So I wanted to give cookies as gifts to some friends this tear, but just giving cookies alone is kinda boring.. so I decided to use some of the amazing papers from my favorite paper store..(can you guess?)

So I had one small peice of  black velvet left, and decided to put it through the cricut and see what happened.
