You have to love how chalk inks blend and what’s even better is how beautifully they blend on Cryogen White! I think I use this paper on every card I make. I also used Basis Black. The window was cut using Spellbinder’s large rectangle and the frame was made using Spellbinder’s large rectangle [...]

My girlfriend had her first grandchild and I made her this card because IMHO grandparents should get cards when they have a new grandbaby.
For this card I used Pearl Glimmer and Razzle Berry Pop Tones. The Pearl Glimmer takes nicely to ink as you can see by the pale orange flowers. The Glimmer [...]
I thought I would share with you a technique I developed for the Technique Junkie Newsletter. As you can see by the title of this post…the technique is called Totally Textured. To be honest with you, I would never have come up with this idea if it weren’t for Paper Temptress’ fabulous [...]

She turned 74 and she is still very much on the go. It’s awesome! Did I mention she is ga ga over mice? Not the real ones, LOL! She has a huge collection of miniatures, a gigantic upright Ms. Mouse in her garden and many others too numerous to mention. So obviously, I had [...]

This is a new technique from Technique Junkies. The instructions were for the larger pinwheel. After I made it, I thought the center looked bare so I cut all the dimensions in half to make the center pinwheel. I often avoid making cards like these because of all the measuring, and because they [...]

This was such a fun card to make. I used a technique from Technique Junkies for the b/g of the kimono sticker and the embossed piece to the side of the kimono. The technique is called Splash and Stick. It is easy and effective especially when you use White Premium Glossy for the [...]

Once again a partnership that can’t go wrong. Paper Temptress papers and Technique Junkies Newsletters. This technique is called Glimmer Lace and it is from the most current newsletter. I used my most favorite Cryogen White, and Basis paper lines. The Basis I used are black and purple. Basis is probably the least fancy paper [...]

If I had to choose a genre that I was most passionate about, it would be Asian. I love everything about it and I even feel a calmness as I am creating it. My guest room is Asian inspired and I often sleep in there as it is so peaceful. OK by now [...]
