I made a simple card to celebrate Memorial Day. The base is Cryogen White. I used Hevaenly White,Incandescent Blumarino,and Malermo Perle Vermillion. The ribbon is from my stash but Paper Temptress has some amazing ribbons on Sale. Here are some samples of the Hambly Overlays and Hamblys Screenprints. These amazing papers are on sale for 60% off. They are 12 x 12. I started out by cutting some to 6 x 6 to make it easier for me since I was going to make cards but wasn’t sure what I wanted [...] This first project uses Vintage Silver Lustre cut with the Silhouette. I love how well this paper cut than I added some Distress Ink to give it a bit of color. You can still see the design of the paper through the ink. This card uses a cute image stamped on Heavenly White [...] Permalink Here is another card showing another way to use Hambly Teal All Mixed Up Overlay. Hambly ATC Patchwork Screen print was cut with Silhouette. I love how the different patterns went well together. If you don’t want the print the other side is plain kraft. The paper is text weight. This first card was created using Heavenly White as a base. Lemon Yellow Vellum was cut with Martha Stewart’s fringe scissors. The Hambly Teal All Mixed up was added to scrap of white. The pot was colored on Cryogen White. The flowers were cut from Solar White Classic linen that was sprayed with [...] This is a close up of one of the flowers.
Purple Basket using Grapescile Pop Tones,Silver Metallic/Mica,Violet Vellum,Parchament Vellum,Spring Larch Glimmer,were altered using distress inks,perfect pearls,and water. I cut the flowers using Tattered Flowers. I love how well the papers take the inks and pearls. [...] This card uses papers from the Valentine Bundle which includes the ribbon. I used Irridescent Ivory for the base. The DSP is Hambly overlay called Pink Grandma’s Wallpaper. I colored the white ribbon with Distress Inks. The image is matted with Vermillion Sparkle Red. The flowers are from my stash. [...] The base is Posion Ivory Iridescent. I love the texture and shimmer of this paper. I used scraps of Bubblegum Pop Tones that was cut with the Silhouette.
