Wow it has been a long time since I posted….sorry I will try to do more posting because I am really trying to make more designs…so this is one of my favorite cards I have designed…I am obsessed these days with Concord & 9th.  They are soooo creative and design products that you can use in so many ways…if I was a rich person I would own everything they sell but since I am not I still buy more than I should.

The cover of this card is NOT designer paper.  I used my absolute go too cardstock which is Heavenly White 120# since it is heavy and really takes ink beautifully.  The stamp that I used from Concord & 9th is their Blooms fill in stamp….they leave the flower portion of the stamp empty and includes stamps so you can fill it the flowers any color you want…I LOVE THIS STAMP…in fact I have probably used it more than any other for quite some time now…it never looks the same which is why I think it is soooo versatile…so here it is…as I said I used Heavenly White 120# with MOMENTO’S DANUBE BLUE…I was making an anniversary card for my best online friend LOL..doesn’t that sound funny but it is sooo true…we have been really good friends for several years now and we have never actually met YET…I sooo hope the day comes…but back to the card..I LOVE LOVE LOVE using the HEAVENLY WHITE to stamp on.  I am always sooo impressed and how it actually looks like colored cardstock since the cardstock just LOVES ink and it never blotches or has any imperfections…I added some Nuvo drops and a few die cuts that coordinate with the Blooms fill in stamp set..
Then I had to have a little fun on the inside and I succeeded LOL, she said she cracked up when she read it…they are celebrating TWENTY SEVEN YEARS…That is almost unheard of these days so really happy for them!   Added a die cut from the dies that coordinate with the stamp set…thought it was just the perfect touch…I added the front cover to an 11 x 4.25 sheet of the Balboa Blue Felt Grandee…you can really see the texture in the below photo…heck why not add a touch of interest by using the right cardstock?
