Hello! Mari here, today I’m sharing a card I made for my favorite little fighter, Landen. Landen is 5 years-old and is one year into a battle with leukemia. He’s doing fantastic right now and the kid loves to get mail. Really, he LOVES it. I try to send him a few cards every month. This time I made one with the Mr. Unbeatable image by A Random Fan on Etsy.
I colored him with Spectrum Noir Markers on Copic X-press Paper and added some Stickles to his glove. The sentiment is actually a sticker from my Project Life Stash. I haven’t done any Project Life in months, might as well use the stuff someway!
The base paper is the Eclipse Black. It’s the perfect Black paper. I need to stock up on it soon! I wanted to do something a little different with this card, I send him so many, I like to do something new every now and then. So, I added the clear Hambly Overlay over the black base. The white circles were perfect to break up the black without taking away from the image. I finished it off with a little ribbon across the top to hide the glue I used on the overlay.
If you’d like to know more about the colors I used on the image, or if you would like to send a to Landen please visit my blog- Me and My Crazy Family.
