Happy Friday everyone! Anyone have big crafting plans for the weekend? It’s supposed to be snowy here all weekend and I am not happy about that!
Today I’m sharing a card I made to celebrate my cousin who just found out baby #3 is on the way. I am so excited for her and her little family. She has 2 girls so we all have our fingers crossed for a little boy this time!
I chose the image “New Love” by Saturated Canary, it’s such a gorgeous image. I printed it on the Heavenly White Cardstock and colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers. (All the details on the coloring are on my blog if you want to check that out too).
Since we don’t know the gender of the baby I used a mix of pink and blue- although I was tempted to go BLUE BLUE BLUE for boy! The Yummy White Irisdescent Vellum was perfect for this, it can look pink or blue depending on how you hold it to the light. I embossed that with an Alphabet embossing folder and added a piece of pink underneath just to break up the white a tiny bit. I finished of the card with some wood veneers that I had added Stickles to and some homemade enamel dots in pink and blue, of course.
