Well I had hopes of getting these framed before I posted them, but I just didn’t get there – a bit too much to do and not enough time or energy to do it.
Zentangle is another one of my many hobbies, and as with my copics and colored pencils, my favorite paper to use is the wonderful ‘cryogen white’ from Paper Temptress. It takes the pens I use – sharpies and micron pens – beautifully and doesn’t bleed or smear.
The first photo shows a Hummingbird from a book called ‘Tangle Easy’ by Ben Kwok. It starts out as an outline and I added the tangles with a 005 micron and used an ultra fine sharpie to fill in the dark spaces. The second photo shows the same Hummingbird in colored 005 microns and the third photo is the same as the first – I copied it onto another sheet of cryogen white and then colored it with polychrome pencils.
Such fun – I get to tangle and to color both this way.
All for me today – Take Care
