Stamping with Chalk Pastels and Pigment Ink

For today’s project, I’m sharing a floral card.

For this card, I started using Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, cut down to slightly smaller than a typical A2 sized card.  I sprayed my Rubber Stampede Aspen stamp with water, and then I colored it using chalk pastels.  I stamped the background.  I used some designer paper from my stash for the background from the Sleepy Tree K&Company paper pack to cover the card base.  Then, I cut another piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White and inked up a flower stamp from the SEI Moravia set using some Colorbox pigment inks.  I carefully inked the center of the flower in Canary.  Then, for the petals I used Marigold and Orange or Orange and Scarlet, and the edges are inked using Lime.  The sentiment is from the My Sentiments Exactly Nature Speaks set, and it is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  The twine is by American Crafts.
