Kindergarten Graduation….hmmmm….kind of silly if you ask me but if it encourages children to have several more graduations in their future than it is a great idea LOL!
So this card was created for one my in-laws granddaughter who graduated from Kindergarten this week. I love the Chalkboard die from My Favorite Things, it is included in Blueprint 17…I had to have it since I thought it would be perfect for school designs…I thought that the Glamour Gold Glossy would look good but was really surprised when it looked as fabulous as it did.
I used my favorite color of the Mica/Metallic paperline, Coral, as the base of the card. The little bow at the bottom is also part of My Favorite Things Blueprint 17, I used the Mother of Pearl Vellum to assemble the bow.
Had to use my new favorite tool EVER my misti to stamp on the Chalkboard since not sure why but the stamps just didn’t want to ink up well. I had to stamp it several times and still didn’t get a real good impression but I thought that chalk on a chalkboard often look spotty too. I thought it looked appropriate! Hope you enjoyed! See ya next time!
