I was browsing on Pinterest and came across this flap fold card. I want to go over the cardstock first then I will tell you how to make the card. The blue background is Lagoon Mica Metallic. The pink is Mountain Rose Glimmer. So both of these cardstocks have a beautiful sheen. The white behind birthday is Vintage Silver Lustre. The Silver Lustre also has a sheen and a beautiful swirly pattern. I added stamped images to make a handmade designer paper look. The main image on the scallop piece at the top was stamped on Cryogen White.
Now for some directions. The base is 4 1/4 x 11. Score this piece at 4 1/4 and 8 5/8 inches. I used a 2 3/8 circle die to cut a circle on the second score line. Fold on the score lines. Cut a 2 5/16 scalloped circle out of the pink. Cut a 1 7/8 inch circle from cryogen to layer on the pink scallop. Layer the scalloped circle in the hole at the top. I placed the pink grosgrain double bow on the card to hold the flap down.
You could change the size of the circles and scalloped piece as long as they fit where they need to. The directions I found on pinterest used 2 1/2 circle for the cut, 2 3/8 inch scallop and 2″ center circle. I adjusted to what I had.
