Hap-bee Valentines

Here’s a stamp from a brand new artist at Sweet Pea stamps, it’s Sandra Caldwell.  This cutie is called Old maid bee so I colored her up with blue hair!  I am using wonderful papers from Paper Temptress today to complete this card and I added a fun sentiment “Home is where your Honey is.”  I think this card could be used as a valentine or just a sweet card for the special someone anytime of the year.

The base of this card is using gorgeous color cardstock called Tuscan Sun Brawny.  The image is printed out on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest and die cut using Lifestyles.  The yellow cardstock is from Pop Tones Lemondrop.   I cut out the banners using die cuts from CC Designs.  The embossing is using a wonderful 6×6 inch embossing folder from Crafter’s Companion.

I hope this fun card inspires you to create something cute for your valentine!

Did you know that Paper Temptress is celebrating with me this month? THE Paper Temptress is offering an incredibly generous $25 gift card as a prize during my celebration on Holley’s Blog this month as I celebration my 5th year without seizures.  I am so happy to say that 5 years ago I had two brain surgeries that not only saved my life but completely changed me forever. I so very thankful and blessed to have wonderful friends and crafters who supported me. Drop by my blog and leave a comment to join in my celebration as goodies are being given away everyday this month.  Hugs and thanks for you support (all of you, both new and old!!)

Cheers, Holley

  • This is awful news and I empathize with the struggles of the farmers in this region, but “coffee lovers” who also care about the world and want to reduce their own carbon footprint shouldn’t be buying coffee that had to travel hundreds or thousands of miles to get to their homes. If you really care about the world, support locally grown coffee and if no one in your area sells coffee grown locally, buy from places that supply as close to home as possible or consider giving it up altogether. The most environmentally friendly product is the one you don’t buy.

  • Are foreclosures still the best buy in Real Estate? Are they?  If you are thinking yes, is it something you are assuming because of what you have read about the real estate market?  I’m not saying you are wrong just trying to get you to think and keep an … Continue reading →

  • Thank you EllaDee, I have approached some people to help me make this blog work, so I can continue doing it and hopefully earn some money from it. I would like to keep doing it, but it does take up a great deal of my time.

  • BTW, “Your Filehost” truly sucks. It just froze my browser (and it’s springlike here in Texas.) Hate those ads they include. Box.net’s better. On a lighter note, love that Lucky Soul song you sent us to at Chromewaves. Thanks.

  • Bad Teacher looks like a rally BAD movie . The humor looks so lame and Diaz performance looks like a rush job and so innsecire onrly because the comedy tires to hard, so she has to work with badf humor and what looks like to be bad BAD dialogue which makes this one a BAD time for eveyone. Rating : 0 bags of popcorn out of 5. Won’t even watch this one when it comes out on DVD, it looks so lame. Cars 2 o n the other hand, looks like beter frare, but judging fromt he trailer it looks like more of the same as the first one. Don’t know if there is anything new or roiginal in it, but I’ve always Pixar and Disney movies because they’re usually fun to watch. This one maybe fun for older kids as well. bags of popcorn iout of 5.RainbowRay
