Distressed Finger Painting

Just wanted to share another easy technique today from Technique Junkies.  It is called Distressed Finger Painting and is used for the background piece of this card.  For this technique you apply distress paints to a craft mat.  I did not have distress paints so I used distress stains.  You then mist the paints with water.  Dip your fingers into the paint and apply to smooth white card stock.  Put on as much as you want.  The last step is to mist a paper towel and crunch it up.  You then pick up some of the paint left on the craft mat and pat it onto your piece.  I also added some glimmer mist to give it some shine. The Heavenly White Cardstock worked perfectly for this technique.

Now for the cardstock.  The base card is also Heavenly White.  The blue layer which actually has some sparkle to it is Abysse Malermo Pearle.  The light blue oval is made from Berrylicious Pop Tones and the flowers are stamped on Banana Split Pop Tones.  I did add some bling on the corners and in the middle of the flowers.
