While I was thinking about my post I was really in the mood to try a new technique. The technique I picked is from Technique Junkies and is called Copic Smooshed Alcohol. For this technique I used Kromekote which is a glossy cardstock. . You color on a craft sheet with Copic markers. I used four colors. You then drop several drops of hand sanitizer on the craft sheet. The next step is to take the glossy paper face down onto the craft sheet. It needs to be moved around slightly to get a marbled effect. The example I saw was more vibrant, but I liked the look for my first try.
Now for the rest of the card. The base is Bright White Matte Kote. The beautiful turquoise colored cardstock is Lagoon Mica Metallic. I thought this cardstock matched my flower color perfectly. I just got some new blendabilities markers from Stampin’ Up. The color is Costal Cabana. The flowers were stamped on Cryogen. The Cryogen did an excellent job with the new markers.
