The hexagon shape seems to be so popular right now. I just had to have the punch from Stampin’ Up. I also cannot stay away from the multicolor packs here at Paper Temptress. Nearly all the paper used for this card came from the Pop Tones cardstock line.
The base of this card is Banana Split. I wanted a darker color for the mat so I went with Grape Jelly Pop Tones. I decided I wanted a little glitz so I used the Retro Silver Lustre for the layer under the hexagons. I added some color to the Silver Lustre with dye inks.
The hexagons were cut from Bubblegum, Raspberry, Spearmint and Orange Fiz Pop Tones. I punched little hearts out of the hexagons and then accented with the extra hearts. A small stone was added to the hearts for a little bling. As a final touch I added the bow.
