I know I have said it before and I know I will say it again but….I LOVE Heartfelt Creations stamps, dies, and designer papers and REALLY fell in love with their new Sweet Lullaby Collection. This card was designed using that collection and I have to say it was soooo much fun designing. I also know I have said it before and I will say it again about using the Laser Silver Lustre but it seems to be the cardstock I always reach for! I colored the Silver Laser Lustre text weight with my favorite Brilliance ink Red Rocket Gold…I love coloring the whole Lustre paperline (currently 25% off) since it just loves inks and maintains it’s pearly finish so you can color coordinate any project but is is still beautiful….I embossed it with the first embossing plates I ever bought years ago….a Fiskars Texture plate names prints…come to find out you can still buy these plates… The inside was pretty easy….I used the same embossing plate but embossed some Mountain Rose Glimmer text weight for the background. Stamped the sweet sentiment on Cryogen White and the colored the adorable little girl with copic markers. I just loved making the shaker rattle….unfortunately most of the little pearl beads got stuck in the rattle in the photos but that is minor distraction (I am a bit of a perfectionist though so it was driving me nutz LOL)! So here is a close up without the pearls driving me nutz Both the shaker and the round embellishment were cut out using Heartfelt Creations dies using the Laser Silver Lustre…then I added a few roses and a scallop border and had an amazing card to give a very lucky couple who just had a baby girl!
