Even though Christmas is over and we are already a week into the New Year, I did want to share an elegant Christmas card that could easily translate to another occasion by changing the flower and sentiment, its all in the cardstock and vellum. To create the card I started with Heavenly White 100# cardstock from the PaperTemptress for the card base and used a die to create a window and then dry embossed Heavy Duty Clear Vellum also from the PaperTemptress to cover the opening. Next using the same vellum I stamped the sentiment, the poinsettia and leaves twice and then white embossed them. Once they were cooled I cut a few of the petals apart and curled them to add dimension before layering them with the leaves. To complete the card I added pearls to its center. Easy and chic!
