Hello everyone… Tina here. Today I’m sharing another of my projects created with yet another piece of the Hambly Screen Prints. Today I used the “Stylish Squares” print. These adorable images from Sherry Baldy’s Besties reminded me of the 60’s and the screen print (I thought) reflected that as well. Perfect match up!
I LOVE that these screen prints are all on various textures of paper. This paper is more like a vellum but also has a bit of an iridescent glimmer to it.
I added it to my card stock using glue dots because I didn’t want it to lie flat but to be more of a “texture” and it naturally curls a bit on the edges when not glued down completely. I really like how that adds to seeing the iridescent look of it.
I think you will be surprised at all the different textures and prints you’ll find in the screen print papers. I find I grab for them a lot more looking to see if a print will go with my design and have been pleasantly surprised at the variety.
My image, of course, was colored with Copic markers and a simple sentiment sticker and some flowers are all I felt this card needed. Reminds me of such a basic vintage look and I love it.
Stop over to the store and check out all the many designs in the Hambly Screen Prints. I have a nice supply on hand and I KNOW I’ll be using them more and more. Thanks for stopping by today!! *HUGS*
