Simply Put…

PaperTemptColum1aHappy Monday everyone!!! Today I wanted to share with you a simple card with a touch of elegance.  I used the awesome Solar White Thick Column paper which not only is fabulous at making any card look classy but… I’ve stamped on it many times as well and it works wonderfully!!!

Today, I not only wanted to feature the Thick Column paper but also, the white Vellum!!  I stamped my image on the vellum and colored it with my Copic markers.  Yep… you can easily use your Copics on this paper as well.  Now you have to remember that the ink will not penetrate the paper so make sure you leave it plenty of time to dry prior to handling.  Just to be on the safe side, I did hit it with my heat gun for just a few moments.  I turned up the upper left and lower right corner with simply using my thumb and rolling it.  It rolls perfectly without any issues of it crushing easily and leaving “fold ” marks instead of rolling.  😉

I also used my Scor Pal to add a bit more of a raised “frame” around my image.  With strategically placed drops of glue, it appears my vellum is floating off the page.  I love that!

A few flowers and strands of pearls and I have a card that is perfect for just about any occasion.  I hope you give adding vellum to your cards a try.  It really is very versatile and looks wonderful next to the column paper.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!  Remember to stop back by tomorrow for even more inspiration from the design team!!!  *HUGS*
