Summer Flowers

I wanted to make a card with two of the sale items, the vellum and column paper.  Unfortunately I just could not come up with a way to use both on my card, so guess what, I made two cards.

The first card is stamped on Heavenly White.  The stamp I used is from Sizzix and comes with a matching embossing folder.  The large purple flowers are actually Purple Vellum that I put through a Stampin’ Up die that I had.  The die cut it and also gave it the texture.  It matched the flowers on this stamp perfectly.  What a perfect way to use the many colors of vellum at Paper Temptress.  Stamp your flower and highlight it with some fantastic vellum.  And to make it even better, Vellum is 25% off right now.

My second card uses some of the Solar White Skinny Columns (40% off right now).  What better way to accent the columns than to stamp a stripe on it?  This stamp is called Circles and Lines from Penny Black.  I highlighted the dots with stickles.  The column piece was layered on Epic Black to make it pop. The flowers were stamped on Vintage Silver Lustre which also has a slight line pattern to it.  I stamped the flowers with a variegated stamp pad because I wanted a lot of color in this card.  This stamp set is from Stampin’ Up  and is called Flower Shop.  It also has a matching punch.

The card base is Treasure Mango Orange and the sentiment is Treasure Grass.  I love the texture in this cardstock and the vibrant color.  I can’t forget to mention the wonderful two sided ribbon.  Wanted colors that would pop and got two great colors in one ribbon.
