An Apple A Day….

I am sure many of you recall that just a while ago there was an awesome blog hop combining two companies, Paper Temptress and Scrapbook Stamp Society.  Well here’s a card that is combining the two companies again.  This gorgeous image is from artist Heather Valentin that  is called “Abigal”.  She’s just perfect for picking apples in the fall time.  I matched her up with wonderful Paper Temptress papers to make this adorable card.

The base of the card is gorgeous Indigo Blue Skinny Columns,  stamping the image on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest paper, the border edging uses Antique Gold Metallic, and the background in the card uses the new Hambly Screen Overlay Gold Hanging Heliconias

It’s hard to tell because the card is laying flat here, but the edge on the right hand side has the blue cardstock edge punched, the gold layering has been added to the INSIDE edge of the card.  The stamped saying also has a layer of the Antique gold behind it.  The new Hambly Screen overlays are just amazing.  Here’s just one simple example for using them.  Just wait until I show you more!

Cheers, Holley

Project Materials: Cardstock (Paper Temptress);  DigiStamp (Addicted to Stamps-Scrapbook Stamp Society);  Rubber Stamp (Saying-Starving Artistamps);  Ink (Memento);  Punch (EK Success);  Die Cut (Spellbinders Nestabilities);  Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue dots, Glue All);  Color (Copic Markers);
