I am so in love with the black velvet card stock!! It is just so luxurious!! On this card I used the “kissed embossed” technique that I learned in summer card camp. I rubbed Orchid Ice opalite pigment ink on the raised parts of the embossing folder, then put the cardstock down and embossed. and *bam* just like that you have some gorgeous inked debossed cardstock.
I then used a punch to make squares and raised them up off of the violet mica card stock, making layers. I added a sentiment with a stamp from close to my heart and put it in a die cut pearl plike circle. I also used the the violet/lavender ribbon from the store for a little more pop.

Love your color combo. What a great effect.
Ooh! Your card is gorgeous!! Seems like work, but worth the result.
I came from Einat’s Scrappin’ It. I also entered the contest and am number 16.
