Most Mothers have heard of or read the book Love you forever. It was one of my youngest daughter’s and mine favorite when she was young and now she is reading it to her 3 children. When it came time to make her Birthday card this book gave me my inspiration for this card.
Gold Sparkle was used for the base. I used an exact colored embossing powder on the front flap which really gave it an embossed look. The pink frame is (of course LOL) the Laser Silver Lustre colored with distress inks that was cut out on my Klic N Kut. Love love love this frame! I purchased it at PaperThreads.com.
My 2012 resolution is to be more creative and to start using ALL OF my craft supplies and tools!
I can’t remember where I bought the stamp but I colored it with Pan Pastels (another favorite coloring method of mine). Added a few embellishments to frame the frame!
The inside holds the poem on the same frame as the front but cut with Black Sparkle and sprayed with Glimmer Mist (see I am really trying hard to use my supplies). You can’t really see the mica sparkle in this picture but in real life it is really pretty. I used a darker embossing powder on the inside. Again framed the frame with embellishments (can’t live without pearls and flowers)!
She loved the card and so did I!
Happy New Year to all!
