Tammy here today to share another creation using cardstock from PaperTemptress. Before I share the information about today’s card, I must confess that I did not come up with the idea on my own but from someone in blogland. I apologize that I do not know the name of that person. For my card, I cut two circles from a piece of transparency that I swiped from clear stamps. I used droplets of different colored alcohol inks and a few drops of glossy accents on one transparency and created a sandwich with the second piece of transparency and squished it together blending the colors. After I made the sandwich, I stamped an image on top. I cut a third circle out of Cryogen white cardstock and stamped a background that I distressed and using a few drops of glossy accents adhered it to the back of the transparencies. To finish the card, I mounted the three sandwiched circles on Sunshine Yellow cardstock and topped it off with a black embossed butterfly on Cryogen white cardstock and colored with more alcohol ink. I hope my description doesn’t sound difficult or confusing. It was rather simple to make and I hope you to give it a try. One last thing before I go, PaperTempress has a selection of transparencies instead of using what clear stamps are intended to be stored on.
