Hi everyone! So I’m always up for a challenge. Patricia saw someone’s video who was describing how to use bleach on cardstock to produce a beautiful image and suggested that someone try it using some awesome Paper Temptress cardstock. So, I started playing and came up with 3 different examples.
On the first card, I stamped a bleached image on Epic Black Thick Column paper and left it as is. I matted that on the really cool Ivory Feltweave and then used the most gorgeous Sparkle Vermillion 92# cover stock for the card itself. I love, love, love that paper! It glitters and is such a gorgeous tone of red!
On the second card, I stamped a bleached image on Epic Black Thick Column paper and then re-stamped the same image using black pigment ink. I added clear embossing powder and heated & melted it which almost forms a wall around the image.  Different shades of Pearl Ex was added using a water barrel brush. I matted that piece on 2 pieces of Vellum, gold & Peachy Velvet Stripes which is a vegetable parchment.  When I tore it, the paper kind of separated which had such a neat effect!  The sentiment was heat embossed using gold embossng powder.
And then finally, I used the same technique as the second card, but I also distressed the edges of the Epic Black Thick Column cardstock using a paper distressing tool. Then, I dipped the edges of the black cardstock in Versamark and then into gold embossing powder and heat to set. The piece was matted on a Golden Green Basis cardstock card.Â
So, what do you think? Hope you like them!
Until next time,
