I was inspired by the fabulous fall colors we’re seeing peek out already and made a little note card set for today’s post.
Here’s how I put it all together. Start by assembling your card pieces. These bases are 3×3. I randomly stamped the Chinese Lanterns on one piece of Heavenly White and used a 1 1/4 inch punch to get the squares. The first mat is 1 3/8 punched and the second mats are 1 5/8. Most of this came out of my scraps.
Next, run all the squares through a Xyron and assemble the squares. Emboss each card front. Add the assembled squares to the card fronts. Cut squares of white 2 3/4 for the inside of the notes and stamp one Chinese Lantern along the side for decoration.
Now you need something to hold your fabulous little note cards! I used the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge to make my bag. Cut and score the box where it needs to fold.
Assemble the bag and add a small border to the bottom of the front panel. Add an embellishment. Fill your box. Don’t forget to include some small envelopes for the note cards. That same cartridge has a square envelope template you can use.
For this project I used the following Paper Temptress Papers:
