Every year when school starts, I start thinking of Christmas.
The older I get it seems these holidays just roll around before I’m ready! I love to send handmade cards to my special friends and loved ones, so I’m on the look out for beautiful holiday themed stamps all throughout the year.
I’m so very pleased to share with you a beautiful stamp set from Layers of Color’s new release coming up September 19th. Here is a “sneak peek” of a stamp not even for sale yet! ;D (hee-hee)
This vintage styled image is gorgeous. It’s from the Christmas Blessings clear art stamp set. The tiny details are amazing. (click on the picture to see it larger)Â
I chose to stamp this image on heavenly white ultrasmooth cardstock. This is such a bright white cardstock and it’s perfect for even the most detailed stamps.I used my Spellbinders die and my Grand Caliber to cut out the layer used for the focal image.Â
Eclipse black is my card base because I like it’s deep rich black color and it embosses beautifully.
My striped patterned paper is overstamped with the Vintage Roses stamp by Layers of Color. If you look carefully these roses match the tiny roses on the Christmas Blessings stamp. I love that! This card is lightly colored with Copics and Tsukineko ink was used for the sponged edge of the focal image. Add a bow and a little line of jewels and there you have it.  Â
