I am not sure what it is, but everytime I sit down to design a card with the beautiful Paper Temptress cardstock, I always have to make two. Â Granted this time I did have two cards that were needed, but it is almost like I just didn’t get enough “playtime” with the shimmery/sparkly goodness with just one card! Â So you get the benefit of seeing two cards today.
The first card is using a sketch from the Party Time Tuesday Challenge #29.  This was the first time that I used the Sparkle Blanc.  It is very similar to the Cryogen White but it maybe is a little more subtle on the sparkle aspect.  Beautiful!  Even better paired with the Mica/Metallic line and some Basis #80 cardstock to ground it.
And since you just can never get the full shimmer and sparkle with a full card shot, here is a detail shot:
Now completely changing gears, I needed a Sympathy card.  But for some reason the dark Gray Basis #80 made it into the card again.  It seems to be the perfect “neutral”…kind of like a new black!  You know how black goes with everything…well apparently gray works as well!  I had to use a bit of patterned paper on this one as I didn’t feel I had a stamp to fit the mood very well and this paper looked perfect.  Lucky me it matched the Olive Basis #80 perfectly!  The  layout for this card comes from the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #204 and I found Paper Temptress cardstock to fulfill the Color Throwdown Challenge #154 colors.
That Gold Sparkle is just so very pretty, but as usual you just can’t tell in the full card picture. Â So here is a closeup to give you a better idea of how beautiful it is:
Well I hope that I have inspired you to pull out some gray when you would normally pull out black or maybe inspired you to try a few challenges, or even better yet inspired you to use some gorgeous Paper Temptress cardstock! Â Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering with Paper Temptress!
