Good morning! It’s Holly posting today, and I’m sharing this Wedding Cake card with you today. This can be easily adapted to coordinate with anyone’s wedding colors, and it’s a fun way to congratulate the special couple.
Here’s what you will need to create your own wedding cake card:
Cryogen White cardstock – still on sale!!
Mountain Rose Glimmer cardstock
Pop Tones Black Licorice cardstock
embossing folder
corner rounder punch
small flower punch
pearls
Step 1: Cut three rectangles from the Cryogen White cardstock and round off the top corners with the corner rounder punch. My rectangles are: 1-1/2″ x 1, 1-7/8″ x 1-1/8″, and 2-1/4″ x 1-1/4″.
Step 2: Emboss the three Cryogen White cardstock rectangles with embossing folder.
Step 3: Adhere the embossed rectangles to the Mountain Rose cardstock piece as shown. (Mountain Rose layer measures 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″.)
Step 4: Cut tiny strips from the Cryogen White cardstock and adhere underneath each cake layer.
Step 5: Punch small flowers from Cryogen White cardstock and adhere to cake layers. Add pearls to the centers of each flower.
Step 6: Adhere Mountain Rose cardstock to Black Licorice cardstock, then adhere to Cryogen White card base.
You can see the gorgeous shimmer of the Mountain Rose and the Cryogen White cardstock here:
