Pomp and “Pig-umstance” Stick Figure from Norma Anne Chattin

Since the day I got the happy news that I would be joining the Paper Temptress Design team I have been eager to create a new “stick figure” for my collection. In the past I have cut and pasted my stick figures as art dolls from various stamps and papers but the Cryogen White took a stamped image and alcohol markers so beautifully that I designed this one straight from the stamped image.

Pomp and Pig-umstance

Sentiment reads Winnifre wallows in wearing it well

This project features a base mat of Incandescent Nero, stamped image on Cryogen White, sentiment written on sparkly frosty Azeala from the Mica/Metallic line in text weight, and two punched arrows the top one from Razzleberry Pop Tones that was stamped and embossed in black and the lower from Epic Black. linen. The scalloped die cut circle was cut from Gold Pearl Linen card stock. The flower roses were made from Azeala text weight and accented with a Azeala text weight flourish and tiny Green Basis Card stock leaves. Lots of ribbon, cording, wire, and pearls were tied where the stick meets the card stock including some lovely Black Opulence Ribbon from Paper Temptress.

The back of the figure is embellished with designer cardstock, stickers, wide satin ribbon, and dictionary print paper flower. It can be seen on my website with more whimsical stick figures.   I’ve yet to design a male stick figure but the piggy princess here looks like she could use a prince—I’ll have to scour the stamp companies for that one and make something of it.
