Camp-a-licious

Hi, it’s Melanie here today with some camp-a-licious cards for you. I have learned some really fun techniques at Summer Card Camp and would love to show you the results. The first one is called Kissed Embossing and I so love this technique. What it is, is that you add embossing powder all over the card stock that you want you image on, DO NOT set it yet, than add either embossing ink or Versamark ink to your image and press against your card stock. When you lift up your stamp the embossing powder will come up too. Then you would heat set your powder and then color your image in. With mine I used Memento Ink color, Rhubarb Stalk and Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Peeled paint.

I used the following materials:

Sparkle Blanc
5/16 Decadent Dancer Ribbon in Orange
Memento Inks in colors, Cantaloupe and Rhubarb Stalk
Tim Holtz Ink in Peeled Paint
Stamps – Autumn Leaves (botanicals stamps) and Hero Arts (Old Writing Flower Collage)
Ranger Embossing Powder – Frosted Crystal.

I wanted to show you one more card that I had fun creating at Summer Card Camp. This one I really love, it is simple yet lovely.

Mica/Metallic text weight in Cappuccino
