This cute shoe uses corrugated paper for the sole, and of course, some leather look for the shoe. Add some eyelets, distress the edges just a bit and tie on your shoelaces! Â If cutting shapes is not your thing, Â cut out a shoe silhouette from your favorite catalog. Â You could have a template for any kind of shoe you wanted!
Paper Notes …
- The corrugated is an easy weight to cut and work with, while it has the look of a heavier paper, it is really quite light. I would think it would die cut cleanly, and I found that cutting it with a scissors was very easy.
- The leather look is a substantial and embossed finish, just slightly light reflective, Â think eggshell finish paint in place of matt. It was very easy to work the eyelets into and did not seem flimsy at all.
