Faux Glass Paper Flowers

Trudy has made another amazing video that you HAVE to watch! I created the gorgeous Faux Glass paper flower after watching her video.  It is also very easy (just don’t forget that the melted embossing powder is HOT!  I burnt myself twice!  Watch the video, I would love to see what you create!

I made this amazing pin for my little granddaughter with Opal Mica/Metallic Text weight paper and added Pink Gold PearlEx to the clear embossing powder which gives it it’s iridescent sheen.

  • The blue roundel will supply the i8 in 3 globes,
” which are trim degrees above the base version. Much like i3 lines, the names of these plans are Giga Globe,”
Tera Globe,” as well as Pure Instinct World.” If BMW thinks it is being amazing by
being weird, BMW is wronged. The BMW i8 could be a complicated plug-in hybrid,
but it is additionally a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S rival. Please keep reviewing for a closer take a look at the

  • Mary,
You can get the same look by covering your assembled flower with Diamond Glaze or another similar product. Just paint it on with a med. sized paint brush, let dry and repeat until you have the gloss and thickness you like.

You can use UTEE and VersaMark but you may have to do a couple of coats as well. Some DPs have been coated with embellishments such as raised glitters that don’t work well with this method so test them out on scraps first.
    Hope this helps!

  • Very pretty Patricia!
Congrats on being a featured photo with it on Paper Craft Planet!
    True 😀

  • Hi Patricia,

I just watched the video and her flowers are incrediable!
I am wondering though, I have the utee, but I don’t have a melting pot, is there another way that is safe to do this?
I have used it with versamark and then covered the piece, so not melted it like this.
    Any suggestions?

Thanks for sharing this video and for the help.
