Today I have fallen in love with two items. First… the GORGEOUS Mica/Metallic paper that Patricia has!! OMGosh when she sent me samples of them… I thought I died and went to heaven. I LOVE sparkle! I LOVE glimmer! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Metallic papers!!!!!
Second, I fell in love with Nina Brackett’s newest stamp set from Gina K Designs, “Lovely Labels”. This set is sooooo perfect for showing off those papers and leaving just a simple message on the front that has so much presence.
My main purpose for this card was to show off this awesome metallic paper!!! I used the Lapis Lazuli for my card.
I didn’t want to do the whole front in it because I felt that was just overpowering to drown it in so much sparkle. Still… I wanted just enough to really make it stand out and add shimmer to my design. This is FABULOUS paper!!! I truly don’t think I CAN have enough of it in my arsenal!!!
And just so you can really see it’s shine… here’s a close up. YUMMY!!!
Yellow mat is Lemondrop Pop Tones which is one of the colors that PaperTemptress carries in both 65# and 100# making it perfect to use the 100# for the card and the 65# for the perfectly matching envelope!
