PaperTemptress Crystal Clear

HUGE APOLOGY….This card and posting was done by our Holley and I failed to mention that when I first posted it!  I am sending myself to bed with no dinner, I am a bad girl!  I am so sorry Holley!!

This card is made from a clear sheet that folded in half. I love the way the card looks while it’s closed. I layed some objects on the top of the card and other items on the inside of the card. All items were adhered to the Crystal Clear with glue dots.paper-temptress-come-softly
Here’s a photo of the inside of the card. I used nestabilities to cut out the scalloped rectangle. When closed, this rectangle severs as a border for the image. I also put flowers on the top layer of the card. The paper used for the inner layer is called Tuscan Sun Brawny RC 100. I cut out a small rectangle from the Black Felt Grandee and Neenah Classic Crest Solar White where I stamped the image “Hello”

  • I LOVE these kinds of cards!

  • Patricia, this is Beautiful!
I just purchased my first 2 images from sweat pea stamps….they are beautiful images, a little intimidating to color, but I am giving it my best!
I do love using the clear sheets for cards because it is a little unexpected for people to receive and I think they like that, the problem is I forget about it sometimes so I need a reminder from designers like yourself so I keep it in mind! So thank you for the reminder and the inspirtaion!
Hope you are having a great week!

  • This is very clever, how you layered the elements so that some would show through! Very cute!
