I couldn’t resist doing a rustic card when I grabbed Patricia’s Colored Brown Bag Kraft paper. I used the Olive Brown Bag and began by crumpling it up in my hand. I then straightened it out and took a sanding block and rubbed lightly over it until I got some of the brown bag from the other side showing in the creases. I LOVE how it turned out.
I also roughed up the edges a bit with a distressing tool.
For the inside I used a layer of the Sandy Stripes Vellum. I added a few drops of ink from a sponge to it and lightly misted it with water to make it appear a bit worn and rustic as well.
In real life the sentiment is not blurry… I just could not get a clear photograph and I must have taken 1o of them!!! Grrrr.
I cannot wait to try more of the Colored Brown Bag Kraft paper. I just love the look!! I think I’ll make a whole set of these type cards to make a boxed set and have a quick gift on hand for most any occassion. *smile*

I love all the distressing on this card! the sanding really shows the character of the olive brown bag paper.
What a beautiful card! I love the BrownBagKraft distressed; I, too, am going to make a gift set like yours (Thanks!).
The distressed parchment was the perfect choice for inside.
