Christmas last call

Well, this is my last post before Christmas so I thought I would share a quick, simple design that I used on 2 different by similar cards.  Truthfully the paper is so spectacular that is does not need a lot of dressing up because it stands so well on its own.

The tree image was designed by using various sentiment stamps and placing them on my acrylic block in the shape of a tree.  Now, I have to admit that I did CASE this idea from my good friend Korin who owns Sweet N Sassy stamps and the set used was Holiday Greetings.  Anyway, it was stamped onto the dropdead gorgeous white diamonds cardstock.  I then edged it with a gold paint pen before matting it onto emerald metallic and vermillion sparkle paper.  The same layers were repeated and attached to the sparkle card base.  The tree is accented with gold pearls.

Here is a very similar card

The tree this time was stamped onto cryogen white iridescent cardstock and layered onto red basis cardstock.  I used some patterned paper and repeated the red layer and adhered to the cryogen white card base. The tree was accented with rhinestones.

Thank you for visiting today.  I wish you all a blessed holiday season. I will be back again next year with the first post of the new year :) .  Happy Holidays!
