Today I am featuring the Sky Blue Stripes Vellum. I LOVE this paper and use it every chance I get!!!!
My first card used the Sky Blue Stripes vellum AND the Cuttlebug embossing folder, snowflakes. I really like how it turned out! I did lightly dust over the raised snowflakes with a light blue to give them added pop (just in case it wouldn’t photograph well).
I also used Melanie Muenchinger’s polar bear from her “Jumping for Joy” set available at Gina K Designs. Aren’t they cute all huddled together?? Hee Hee
The Sky Blue Stripes vellum gave my card just the right amount of blue I wanted without being to overbearing on the white bears.
My second card features the same Sky Blue Striped Vellum paper but with this card, I thought it lent itself well to the “pendant” that I was trying to showcase. The stamp is from Theresa Momber’s set, “Timeless Treasures” and is also available at Gina K Designs.
My mother had one of these very pretty light blue pendants when I was a child and the paper went wonderfully and mimicked the color of the pendant I remembered so well as a child.
My last card again features a stamp set from Melanie Muenchinger called, “Sporty Accessories”. The cute tennis outfit coupled with the Sky Blue Striped Vellum just reminded me of a soft summer day and enjoying the outside playing.
Hope you enjoyed the cards and come back soon… who knows what appear will be featured next! *smile*
