A request was sent out earlier this month for cards for the Portland, OR Ronald McDonald’s house to give to sick children. I have been obsessed making cards all weekend so I wanted to show a few of them.
Hopefully you all remember Aaron who was June’s Paper Prince, his design had been selected by TreeHouse Stamps to be make into stamps. All of the above were made by his stamps! Aren’t they as cute as can be?????  I sure think so! I used Aaron’s dino foot to make the border on the first card. It is a cutter file so anyone that wants it please email me and I will send it to you. Please also let me know what format you want, including svg for the cricut!! I cut them out with the white leather (can you see the texture, it really looks like feet) and then colored it red. The white leather can be colored to coordinate with any color out there either with copic markers or ink!!
Now here is a girl card, more to come.
I colored this embossed image with pan pastels and used sticklers for the wings to give them a glittery effect. I have already colored a cut out a couple of Tilda images and some more Tinkerbell’s and Snow White but I haven’t finished them yet so will add them when done!! This has been so much fun (and I am sorry for all the orders that didn’t go out this morning, I just couldn’t stop creating)!
Now this card can be used for either. It really looks much better in real life since it is heavenly white that is sprayed with Glimmer Mist so it is very pretty and was so simple to make. I stamped the butterflys and then embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then I just sprayed the heavenly white with glimmer mist and wallah, all done!! I think this card would be perfect for a teenager, at least I hope so! I just wish the glimmer mist didn’t spot but I guess that just adds a design element (that is what I call all my mistakes LOL!) Speaking of mistakes, I had to restamp the third butterfly but didn’t add any ink since I only missed a little spot and I was hoping to put ink just on that spot. Once I restamped the image I then added the clear embossing powder and really liked the effect. Can you see the white outline around the butterfly, it seems to give it a little dimension. That is one mistake I will make again!!
Ok definitely enough for now, so as always, enjoy!! OH wait a minute one more thing, have you checked out the specials at PaperTemptress this week? The Sorbet is now on special for the first time ever so check it out!!
