I decided to create a Christmas card using a non-traditional color combo.
I first created my patterned paper by stamping my snowflakes with white, red, and black ink onto kraft cardstock then sponged the edges with white and stitched it onto my noir sparkle paper (which just happens to be on sale this month). I stamped the snowman which is newly released from Sweet N Sassy stamps onto my kraft paper and colored him with a white prismapencil and copics. I always wanted to try the white on kraft- pretty neat! I paper pieced the scarf and used diamond stickles for the lights. The edges of the circle were also sponged with white before attaching to my scalloped circle cut from noir sparkle. Â The card base is made from blanc sparkle.
Can you see the flecs of sparkle in the black, pretty cool huh? Â The sparkle line is among my Paper Temptress favorites.
Supplies: stamps- Sweet N Sassy stamps; cardstock- Paper Temptress kraft, blanc sparkle, noir sparkle, SU dp; black rhinestones, circle nestabilities, white gel pen, diamond stickles, prismapencils, copics, stitched ribbon, sewing machine.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!
