Yellow Rose of Texas

I used some papers from Paper Temptress for this card.  The base is a single 5.5 x 4.25.  The white layer with the rose is a trifold using 4.25 x 11 inch Heavenly White Premium US CS folded into thirds (after the flower is stamped and cut).  I used a corner punch on the corners of the colored layer, Malachite/Mica Metallic.

So, when you slide off the decorative black ribbon and beaded stick pin, you can open the card to reveal the sentiment.

I stamped the large flower in white craft and embossed it using clear EP.  The leaves are also stamped and embossed on the malachite paper.  Then I watercolored the image and cut the right side before scoring the top and bottom crease.

I like the card style, too. And the malachite is beautiful.
