The card I’m posting today uses some great Paper Temptress papers that just cry out to be used for a fall card. Using a fun stamp set from Kim Hughes, I created an autumn scene, complete with a pile of leaves – which will soon also be the scene in my yard…but I can wait for that as well.
Where I live in St. Louis, we have had the most amazing summer, weather wise. It’s been unseasonably beautiful with cooler than normal temperatures as well as lower than normal humidity. Normally by late August the temperatures are so unbearable that I’m hoping autumn arrives quickly…but since the weather has been almost fall like all summer long, with the added bonus of green grass, I can wait…but that doesn’t mean that the seasons will wait for me to be ready.
The accent piece is a scrap created using the Leafing Pen Resist Technique. With its fall colors, I thought it would be a nice accent for this card.
Whether you’re ready for autumn or not, it will be here before you know it, so just roll with the flow and enjoy the ride.
Have a great day,
