Tickled Pink with Digi Embossing on Metallics

Hey Crafters,
Mel here with a simple little gift box & card.  I can’t stop embossing out of the printer with the Paper Temptress metallic cardstocks. It’s so speedy! The details of this project: the Bronze Metallic cardstock (for the label shaped box & the card mat) is embossed with antique ledger images in white embossing powder (straight out of the printer & distressed with brown Copic marker.)  The flower also a digital image (from Marks Paper Company) & it’s embossed out of the printer in silver embossing powder on Rose Quartz Metallic cardstock & coloured with Copics. I wish you could see the shimmer of those metallics in real life!
My fave: embossing digital images on PT metallic cardstocks!

Other deets: I’ve accented the Paper Temptress Papers with snippets from an old book dyed with Distress inks & copics…There’s a touch of pink gossamer ribbon on their too. The main card is made of one of my favourites: Classic Laid cardstock. I love it’s watercolour-y texture & it has a nice creamy tone to it.
Edited to add: a couple new photos that hopefully give you a better idea of the card….

…and how the embossing is on the metallic:
You can emboss in white or silver for high contrast & colour it any colour you like with Copic or other alcohol based markers. It’s especially fun on black. Imagine Onyx metallic cardstock with Halloween digital images (or even just text in any word/other document!) These metallics in your printer have to be THE easiest way to emboss sentiments ever.
You can find these paper Temptress Papers here:
  • Classic Laid cardstock (a cardstock that has great texture & is nice & sturdy for the main card. Plus, it’s on sale for 25% off right now.) :o)

Thanks so much for having a look. Happy Paper Crafting!

Mel
