Okay here we go, a little late but have you ever started out with one design only to end up with something completely different? Well that is usually my M O! LOL and that is what happened today. With all of the amazing designs HIT (and a few of PT”s) design team has presented us with this week I knew that I was certainly challenged!! And on top of that to have something almost done and then to stamp the wording Upside down! Yes, upside down (can you tell I was just a little stressed over the challenge) I decided I was going to change my whole design!
This is what I came up with:
I used the fabulous Midnight Blue Classic Linen for the base and the Emerald Green Classic Linen for the image mat! The beautiful goddes and the saying is from Hearts in Touch IN THE GARDEN stamp sheet (one of my favorites). The flourish is from another one of my favorites Classic Squiggleys. I stamped all images on the Cryogen White Iridescent (too bad you can’t see the sparkle that I can see IRL, it is gorgeous)!! Colored with Pan Pastels and embossed with Rangers Queen’s Gold embossing powder. Don’t forget to leave a comment (please don’t point out all the mistakes, please) to enter that fantastic giveaway of one package of the Hit Paper used in the summer nights giveaway and one stamp sheet from Hearts in Touch rubber stamps of your choice.
Now this is the last night of showcasing the IN THE GARDEN sheet! Next week it is Designer’s choice so that is going to be a LOT of fun since Hearts in Touch rubber stamps has ooddlleess of stamp sheets to choose from, really, seriously, I am not kidding, oodles!! Just wait and see!!
Shh! Don’t tell anyone but I cheated…..I used just a touch of paper that isn’t in the package…..can you tell which one it is and what did I use? Whoever guesses this right first is going to win 20 sheets of that same cardstock, really!! So figure it out quickly!!
And then I thought” I should have done ……” and since it was all glued and I couldn’t physically change it I took it into Photoshop and did what I thought I should have done digitally. Check it out if your curious!!
