Glossy Berries!

Happy Wednesday! I have a fun project and card to share with you, so here we go and hope you enjoy it!

The project was inspired by the annual stack of Thank You cards I make for my sister. Being a teacher she’s always in need of Thank You cards so I decided this year I would package them pretty for her. Along with the package is a card, so here it is, For A Special Teacher!

Here’s a close up of the box opened with the thank you card outside the box.

This template for this fun box is from Hybrid Chick Designs called4x6 Prints Box designed by Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs. I printed a the box using Paper Temptress’s Black Pearl Glossy card stock.

The note cards are all created using Heavenly White Premium Ultrasmooth card stock. Using Taylored Expressions’ Berries & Cherries set I stamped the flower/berry image as well  as the sentiment with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink and colored the image with Copics. The circle image I stamped with Kiwi Kiss ink.

Across the middle I added a strip of ribbon with a prima flower and pearl in the middle. I placed them inside the box with the envelopes I stamped and tied in a bundle.

To the outside of the box I added a strip of ribbon and the sentiment that reads For a special Teacher.

I’m planning on giving it to my sister tomorrow on her first official day back along with this card, Life is a bowl of Cherries.

I again used the Heavenly White card stock for the base and added a strip of Laser Black Glossy Lustre card stock to the card front. On one side I added a strip of Roackabilly designer paper and the other a strip of striped ribbon. To the middle I added a smaller piece of Laser Red Glossy Luster paper with a piece of Vintage Silver Lustre Text. To each top corner I added a black halfback pearl and to the bottom a strip of ribbon with a bow and prima flower with halfback pearl in the middle.

The image and sentiment are from the same Berries & Cherries set I used above. I stamped them bowl of cherries image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with Copics; I cut it out and place it in the middle of the center element with dimensionals. The sentiment I stamped with Vivid! Brick ink, punched it out with the Scallop Oval punch and placed it in the middle of a large oval scallop I punched out of Laser Red Glossy Luster. I finished it off by adding some black halfback pearls to each side.

Hope you pick up some of these amazing papers…you’ll love how they glam up your projects!
