One of my most favorite types of cards to make is the Floating Card made out of acetate. So when asked what papers I wanted, I was sure to put down Crystal Clear Paper.
The only tricky part about this project is the photographing! But any recipient will be head over heels when they receive this “magical” card.
Take a sheet of Crystal Clear paper and cut it in half to make the base of your card. Then, I used nesties to cut out the various layers. I stamped the fairy image onto White Diamond CS so it has a lot of glimmer in it. I watercolored in the image and the paper took the paint without any problems. I used Gumdrop Green from the Pop Tones for the accent color. The mat was cut from a shimmery Malachite Mica/Metallic Cardstock. I used glue dots to adhere all layers to the Crystal Clear Paper.  The Crystal Clear is actually in between the top embellished layer and the Malachite. There is plenty of room for the sender to write out a greeting on the bottom rectangle layer of White Diamond.
I think even in this photo, you can see the magic of a Floating Card!
