I love Tilda stamps and Paper Temptress : )

Someday I will find a way to deal with my addiction to Tilda (Magnolia) stamps, for now though I will just have to stamp away with the stamps I have now.

Today I wanted to stamp one of the new summer images from Magnolia, and the image was so cute that the card really didn’t need much beyond some really great paper and a few little embellishments.

This is the card I came up with:

From July 25 2009

I used the wonderful Limeade Pop Card stock for the base of the card, added a layer of the Sparkle Abysse card stock, then a layer of the absolutely heavenly “Sky Blue Stripes Vellum,,” punched the heart out of the Sparkle Abysse and then embossed it with clear powder to bring out the sparkle, dyed a white flower blue, ran the ribbon through the middle of the flower, and added a strip of ribbon to the front.

Tilda is colored using the OMS method (coloring pencils blended with Odorless Mineral Spirits).

I hope you like the card today and see how easy it is to make great cards when you have the very best paper from Paper Temptress.

  • So sweet Jacquie! I love the way you have the Tilda behind the sentiment. I’d never think to do that and it looks so gorgeous. And the ribbon stem for the flower-too clever! :O)
