America’s sweetheart

I really like some of spellbinders new dies and thought the hearts really suited this stamp from the Stampsmith. The border and individual hearts were done using the Candidio Incandescent paper, and the accents were airbrushed with Copic markers. The main diecut uses Cotton Candy Pop Tones cardstock, the square panel and the card base are from the Antiqued Parchment collection.  (check the comments for a detailed description of the die cut!)

    This card rocks!!!!

Patricia, the pink die around her face is the larger pendant die and the white hearts were cut using one of the smaller dies that comes with the pendants. I airbrushed through the smaller die, using it like a stencil, to add the pink accents, then attached them to the larger pink die. With the larger die embossed, they are easy to line up, they sort of nestle together.

    Hope this helps.

  • Rosemary, that card is exquisite, we need a tutorial especially on how you did the multi colored spellbinder die. Is the whole die one piece and then the white ones are another piece? I am immensely intrigued! I am off to buy that die RIGHT NOW!!
