You’re my Cup of Tea

Hi, and happy Sunday.  I love Sundays because I normally don’t have anything to do except go to church, and even then I don’t have to get up early, like I do when I have to get ready to go to work.  I can leisurely relax, read blogs and enjoy a warm cup of tea.

The project that I have for you today uses the yummy Blue Ice/Kiwi Sorbet Double Sided paper from Paper Temptress.  Not only are these colors delicious together, but the fact that they are double sides really gives you a whole range of possibilities.  In addition to the double sided paper, I also used a few pieces of the coordinating Sorbet Cardstock in Kiwi to stamp my focal image which was stamped using Versa Mark ink and then embossed with Turquoise Distressed Embossing Powder from Ranger.

I created my Arch Lattice border by punching directly into the card base and then punching another from the Kiwi cardstock and layered them slightly askew so you could see both colors.

I was happy to find a little piece of ribbon that I’ve had in my stash forever, that matched so nicely with these colors and then to finish off the bottom border, I added a pierced design along with some bling scattered here and there.

So, I hope your day is a good one and that you have a chance to relax a bit and enjoy a cup of YOUR favorite beverage.  Thanks for looking in.
